The Venue

Dafermou Winery / Ktima Dafermou

As two devoted wine lovers who never miss a chance for a tasting (especially if there’s a cheese platter involved for Ioanna), we knew our venue had to feel like us. After a few ‘research trips’ – including Fivos enthusiastically testing every possible off-road route that might lead to it – we found the perfect place: Dafermou Winery, a beautiful spot tucked into the mountainous village of Lefkara. Our ceremony will take place right there on the estate, surrounded by the vines (and the wines), in a setting that captures our story, our style, and our shared love for all things grape-related.

We are looking forward to welcoming you and celebrating our special day together!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our plan is for both the ceremony and celebration to take place outdoors.

What will the weather be like?

Early October in Cyprus is usually warm and pleasant during the day, with cooler temperatures later in the evening, so we recommend bringing a jacket or another warm layer for after sunset.

What should I wear?

The dress code is formal, but above all, we would like you to feel comfortable and ready to enjoy the evening. Shoes suitable for dancing are very much encouraged.

Is there parking at Dafermou Winery?

Yes, there are plenty of parking spaces available at the venue free of charge. For guests with mobility needs, there is a closer drop-off point and entrance. Please feel free to reach out if you need any assistance.

Will there be vegan and vegetarian options?

Yes, the dinner buffet will offer a wide variety of dishes, including vegan and vegetarian options to suit all tastes and preferences.

Is there a gift registry?

Thank you for being part of our special day!

Having you with us means so much to us, and we truly hope you enjoy every moment of the celebration.

If you wish to mark the occasion with a gift, please note that we do not have a formal gift registry. For those who would like to contribute to our future together, a monetary gift would be greatly appreciated.

For guests visiting from abroad, it is also customary in Cyprus for the newlyweds to receive their guests’ wishes after the ceremony and share a moment together during the ‘Heretisi’. You will have the opportunity to offer your gift then, if you wish. If you prefer to use a bank transfer, please reach out and we can share our IBAN details.

Need help with accommodation options?

Please feel free to contact us for recommendations. We’ve already done some work to make things easier, especially for guests arriving from abroad.

Do you have any Lefkara or Cyprus getaway recommendations?

If you are planning to turn our wedding into a little getaway, please feel free to reach out for recommendations on where to stay, places to eat, and things to do in the area.

Are children welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, our celebration will be an adults-only event. We thank you for your understanding.
